Michi is a successful business consultant in the process of rebranding a leading Swiss dairy processing business, when his father, a dairy farmer, commits suicide. He is called upon to help his family save the farm, but his efforts of trying to unite global corporations and his family business put him at odds with his siblings, the village, and his job and life in Zurich. Neumatt not only engages with the entanglements of running a dairy business in a globalising world but also with questions of sexual orientation and gender identity in rural communities.
